MES Manufacturing Execution System System Analyst (#Sep4-04)
JOB PROFILE

We seek a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic IT team as a "System Analyst.  Presently seeking levels  I, II & III. The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) System Analyst is pivotal in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining MES solutions within a manufacturing environment. MES System Analyst III bridges the gap between information technology (IT) and manufacturing operations to ensure efficient and effective production processes. 

Your primary focus will involve implementing, maintaining, and optimizing a company's MES software and processes within a manufacturing environment. 

 Overall, the role of an MES System Analyst III is essential for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving productivity, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating informed decision-making by effectively utilizing MES technology. The analyst's expertise contributes to the successful implementation and ongoing enhancement of MES solutions that meet the organization's evolving needs and contribute to its competitive advantage.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

Develop software to work with current MES systems to add or enhance functionality: Identify opportunities to extend the capabilities of existing MES systems through software development, ensuring seamless integration and improved functionality.

Install hardware and software: Lead the installation and configuration of hardware and software components required for MES solutions, ensuring proper setup and compatibility.

Develop software for monitoring shops: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy shop monitoring software applications that provide real-time insights into manufacturing processes, facilitating data-driven decision-making.

Develop software to work with current MES systems to add or enhance functionality: Identify opportunities to extend the capabilities of existing MES systems through software development, ensuring seamless integration and improved functionality.

Install hardware and software: Lead the installation and configuration of hardware and software components required for MES solutions, ensuring proper setup and compatibility.

Maintain and install equipment and configurations for the MES network: Continuously monitor and maintain the MES network infrastructure, including equipment and configurations, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Develop and maintain secondary software for environmental data gathering and Assembly repair reports: Create and maintain specialized software applications for collecting environmental data and generating assembly repair reports, contributing to comprehensive data analysis and reporting.
REQUIREMENT:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience (Yrs.)

3-7+ years’ experience in the IT field, preferably in the Automotive/Manufacturing Industry.

 

Skills/Knowledge

Ability to support 24 X 5/6 

Ability to work overtime. 

Certifications Preferred: A+, Microsoft Certifications (MCPD, MCITP, MCTS) 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office 

Excellent Analytical Skills and problem-solving skills 

Good documentation skills 

Software: C++, ASP.NET, C#

Database/OS: Oracle Application Server (Windows and Linux), ORACLE 11g, SQL server knowledge

Intermediate proficiency programming in C#, ASP.net, HTML5 and Win forms

Intermediate proficiency in performing coding utilizing C#, ASP.net, HTML5, and WinForms

Intermediate proficiency in writing PL/SQL statements for Oracle and SQL DB

Intermediate proficiency in coding/debugging GMES Applications 

Intermediate Analytical skills and problem-solving skills

Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office

Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logical Controller)

Intermediate knowledge of business processes related to MES.

Primary SME (Subject Matter Expert) to the assigned shop
