The Ocean Planner is a position primarily responsible for monitoring the status of data for each of local offices.
•Monitoring Outstanding amount of money which has not been paid by Customer (Mainly LG Electronics, LG Chemical and others)
•Gathering the Data of Monthly Cost spent for the delivery of customers' shipment and share that information with them.
•Handling outstanding charges issues with various Carriers such as Maersk Line, NYK, Hyundai, APL, etc.
•Service Contract (S/C) Data management, Handling issues with S/C.
•Handling Cargo Damage Claim Issues (supported by Company Legal Counsellor)
•Service Coordination / Communication with Customers, Carriers
•Taking a role as a Control Tower if specific/abnormal issue happen (For Example, Carrier Hanjin Bankruptcy Issue, Hurricane Issue)
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•MS Office required (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
•Ability to work under fast paced environment and pressure
•Attention to detail
•Strong service oriented mindset
•Ability to Multi-task
