SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst (#Jan4-11)
JOB PROFILE

Purpose of this position:

The SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst role at Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing involves leading HCM (Human Capital Management) solutions, supporting business systems like SAP HR and SuccessFactors, and collaborating with Korea HQ to enhance and implement HCM best practices.

This position requires expertise in SAP and a strong understanding of Human Capital Management.

The position will provide support and guidance in implementing HCM solutions and ensuring the smooth operation of business systems. Effective communication and coordination skills are crucial for collaborating with Korea HQ to drive success in HCM initiatives.

The SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for assessing, estimating, supporting, and managing the effective and efficient delivery of the functional aspects of SAP projects, enhancements, and service delivery (break/fix) across all HAEA-AM-supported instances.
 

The SAP HCM Business Systems Analyst will be accountable for the ERP project, enhancement assessment, and execution, including service delivery (break/fix) on our CBU's SAP ERP instance.
As such, the BSA will be the key person for CBU businesses where HAEA-AM supports CBU's SAP environments. This will include daily working with SAP users and business partners in the sites within the scope of the role.


Will collaborate with other team members, to ensure that enhancements are delivered, leveraging the global resource pool cost-effectively without negatively impacting quality, and providing support in resolving service delivery matters and ensuring SLAs for service are met.
The position requires access to detailed and confidential information of all types (financial, payroll, etc.).

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

Essential Functions:

  1. Be involved in the keep it running and evolutive maintenance of SAP ERP solution.
  2. Takes the lead role in Assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring, eliciting requirements, Requirements organization, Translating and simplifying requirements, Requirements management and communication, and Requirements analysis.
  3. Along with the other team members, oversee Incident management, Checking and solving customizing issues, Bug fixing, Investigation of escalated problems, Monitoring of interfaces and replications, Enhancement management, Analysis and application implementation, improvements, Writing general as well as detailed, functional specifications, Integration tests &amp business support for UAT, the application documentation, Contribution to workload estimations.
  4. Keeps a general overview of the solution's architecture and its evolution and is accessible for all matters in the functional domain of SAP HR.
  5. Stay updated with technical developments and evolutions in SAP HR.
  6. Performs a fit-gap analysis for business requirements and delivers solutions in line with standard SAP.
  7. Decompose high-level information into details and be able to animate workshops with end-users and business representatives.
  8. Distinguish requests from the underlying business needs.
  9. Maintains a regular physical presence close to business interlocutors and Key Users to assist them in the development and daily management of their applications.
  10. Respect the operating procedures and methodology effective within HAEA-AM
  11. Respect working in collaboration with external partners according to the HAEA IT model.
  12. Supports HQ teams in the maintenance of the SAP solution and its evolution in line with the requirements of our CBU.
  13. On-call support.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Scope Indicators:

As an SAP HCM Business Analyst at Hyundai/Kia Motors Manufacturing, your role encompasses many responsibilities related to Human Capital Management and SAP systems. To ensure the successful execution of your duties, it is essential to establish a set of indicators that will help measure your performance and contributions. The following scope of indicators is designed to assess your effectiveness in key areas:

  1. SAP HR and SuccessFactors Expertise
  2. HCM Solution Implementation
  3. Business Systems Support
  4. Collaboration with Korea HQ 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, the SAP HCM Business System Analyst may lead small project teams or guide junior team members on specific tasks or projects.

REQUIREMENT:

Related Work Experience (Yrs.)

• At least 7+ years of hands-on configuration, development, or support of SAP HR area

• Minimum of 7 years of ERP Project Execution/ management experience

• Minimum 3 complete life cycle SAP implementation experience

Skills/Knowledge

  • Ability to set expectations explain and champion detailed technical concepts to peers, management, and business partners.
  • Ability to translate details into specific tasks needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving complex environment.
  • Proven ability to navigate the technology environment and work effectively with multiple groups around the globe.
  • Strong negotiation/persuasion and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and manage remotely in a matrix organization with multiple business partners and IT colleagues.
  • Must have the ability to question the status quo.

Certifications (Required/Preferred):

  • SAP HR certification preferred.
  • PHR certification preferred.

Note:   Some travel, including international travel may be required.
