Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) to implement, operate, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly reliable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role is focused on hands-on operational excellence, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and continuous optimization while adhering to AWS best practices for security, performance, and cost efficiency.
Key ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Management
- Deploy, configure, and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, and ELB
- Perform infrastructure provisioning, performance tuning, and health monitoring
- Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls
Automation &amp Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Design and manage infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
- Maintain reusable templates and modular infrastructure components
- Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash to streamline operational tasks
Monitoring &amp Cost Optimization
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and auditing tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents
- Apply cost optimization strategies, including Reserved Instances and resource right-sizing
Security &amp Compliance
- Manage AWS accounts using Landing Zone and Control Tower
- Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM, Security Groups, NACLs, and encryption
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaboration &amp Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and IT teams to support cloud operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
- Stay current with AWS services, features, and industry best practices
- Recommend tools and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
Basic QualificationsEducation &amp Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting AWS cloud environments in production
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Control Tower
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus

- Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
- Knowledge of AWS cost management tools such as Cost Explorer or Trusted Advisor
- Korean / English bilingual preferred
